The ProCare Charitable Foundation is awarding $160,000 across five Auckland charitable organisations working to promote health equity, empower families, and create stronger communities. In 2025, the Foundation took a refreshed approach aimed at supporting organisations it has partnered with before who have produced clear, positive outcomes for their communities.
Dr Peter Didsbury, ProCare Foundation Chair says: “We’re proud to support these very laudable organisations making a meaningful difference in our communities. The 2025 recipients are:
“By changing our approach this year, we’re excited to see the further impact these organisations will make. Every dollar reflects our commitment to healthier futures for all Aucklanders,” continues Didsbury.
Since its establishment, the ProCare Charitable Foundation has granted more than $2 million to initiatives that improve community health and wellbeing across the Greater Auckland Region. The Foundation was created by the shareholders of ProCare Health Limited, with trustee and grant administration services provided by Public Trust.
Glenys Talivai, CEO of Public Trust says: “The ProCare Charitable Foundation captures the ripple effect of giving, where focused funding creates benefits that reach far beyond the initial grant. By supporting organisations that care for society’s most vulnerable, the Foundation helps strengthen communities for the future. As trustee, we have the privilege of seeing this impact first-hand and congratulate the five organisations receiving this funding.”
“We look forward to seeing how this year’s funding continues to make a difference,” says Didsbury.
