The ProCare Co-operative 

Alister brings to ProCare more than 25 years’ experience working in New Zealand and internationally in chief executive and director roles. With a proven track record building successful businesses from start-up through to corporate, Alister has significant experience in the Co-operative sector both as a CEO and Director, and is the Chair of ProCare Board’s Remuneration and Governance Committee. 

Alister provides organisations he works with business development, leadership and governance expertise. 

He is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Directors and has built two significant charitable trusts from conception.

Anna is a General Practitioner at Mairangi Medical Centre, where she has been practicing since 2007, and became a partner in 2016. Anna studied at the University of Auckland and became a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners in 2010. 

In addition to her clinical work, Anna has been a GPEP1 teacher for the RNZCGP since 2023. Her interests include women's health and mental health with a focus on equity. 

Anna has a deep passion for General Practice and is proud of what she and her GP colleagues achieve every day in the community. She loves the complexity of the work and the meaningful and rewarding long term relationships she and her colleagues forge with patients. 

She is committed to providing high quality, patient-centred care, while maintaining enthusiasm and passion for General Practice. 

MBA (Otago University) 

Donovan has whakapapa to Ngāti Te Ata, Waiohua, Waikato-Tainui and Ngāti Hine and has extensive governance experience including most recently being the Chairperson of Te Rau Ora. 

Donovan is an experienced governor and director. He has led significant change across governance entities and structures and is passionate about making an impact on health outcomes in a community. He is a transformational leader having championed key projects across primary care, mental health and addictions and the disability sector. Donovan has a background in Law and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Otago. 

FRNZCGP, DipPaeds, MPH, PGCertCAvMed 

Jamie is a General Practitioner and owner of three general practices – Mission Bay Doctors, Remuera Doctors, and Freemans Bay Medical Centre – and brings a proven record of leadership, innovation, and commitment to advancing primary care. He is passionate about using innovation to improve healthcare delivery and patient outcomes, while ensuring that general practice remains both sustainable and rewarding for clinicians. 

Jamie has government experience including serving on the Clinical Governance Board of Whakarongorau, the Te Whatu Ora Digital Investment Boards, and the Digital Portfolio Strategic Oversight Group. He has also served as Clinical Director for Vensa Health, has been an Associate Clinical Director for ProCare for six years, and was the clinical lead in establishing CareHQ. 

Beyond his clinical and governance contributions, Jamie is deeply committed to education and mentorship, having taught GPEP registrars and served as an examiner for the RNZCGP. 

Jamie is motivated by a genuine passion for primary care, a focus on practical problem solving, and a vision for a connected health system that delivers meaningful improvements to patient care.

Jodie is a GP and practice owner of Mt Eden 575 Doctors. After completing her medical studies at Otago University, she completed her post graduate training in Australia and the United Kingdom, returning to New Zealand with post graduate qualifications in General Practice, Obstetrics and Gynaecology. 

Her special interests are paediatrics and disease prevention. Currently Jodie is a Director on the ProCare Health (PHO) Limited Board.

Dr Cole, a respected General Practitioner hailing from Ngāi Tahu heritage, serves the community of South Auckland as a co-owner of a comprehensive Health Hub. 

Dr Cole's distinguished career spans over 28 years. His background also includes 15 years as a medical officer in the NZ Defence Force, bringing a multifaceted understanding of healthcare. During his service, he received a New Zealand Army Commendation and a TTCP (The Technical Cooperation Programme) award for human factors research. 

In 2021, Karl received the ProCare GP Leadership Award for his work in patient-centred design. This includes his advocacy for the benefits of patient portals, which provide patients with secure online access to their medical notes. He is also active in the field of clinical informatics and is a founding Fellow of Health Informatics New Zealand. 

With a specialization in Clinical Informatics, Dr Cole is fervently committed to harnessing technology to combat healthcare disparities. He earned a fellowship with the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (RNZCGP) in 2004 and was elected to the RNZCGP Board in 2022. 

Leo has formerly been a Partner at PwC New Zealand and was the lead audit partner for several publicly listed entities on the New Zealand Stock Exchange. Leo’s other governance roles include being Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee for Counties Manukau District Health Board, member of the Council for Auckland University of Technology, and member of the Board of New Zealand Opera. 

Additionally, he is a passionate supporter for the Pacific community and has worked for several not-for-profit community organisations. 

Tevita is the Chair of the ProCare Health Ltd board and Chair of the ProCare Pacific Advisory Committee (ProPa). He is an influential leader with sound commercial and community experience. His other community involvements include Chairman of the Pacific Business Trust, Chairman of the Ministry of Social Development - Pacific Governance Group. 

Tevita is also a member of Minister Salesa’s Pacific Expert Advisory Panel and also a member of the Police Commissioner National Pacific board. Tevita was raised in the Friendly Island of Tonga! His primary role is the Chief Executive of the Fono Trust, a Pacific provider of medical, dental, social, public health and education services. 

MB ChB 1995 Otago, DipO&G, Dip Paeds FRNZCGP 2009 

Wiki (Ngati Kahungunu) grew up in Hawkes Bay and has been a GP for more than 20 years. Wiki is an owner-director of her practice in West Auckland and has a strong desire to be of service to her community and wider health network with a focus on equity. 

She is a highly experienced general practitioner with a particular interest in children's and women's health, mental health and diabetes. Her commitment to supporting patients has seen her up-skill in the areas of mental health and she offers Focused Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (FACT) consults to help people to get on-track with their lives.
