Free after-hours medical advice

If you or a family member feels unwell and your doctor’s practice is not open - you can still call your practice number and receive quality medical advice from registered nurses.

Any time outside normal practice opening hours, ProCare patients can simply phone their usual doctor (GP) practice number to discuss their health issue with a registered nurse.

All calls are free from a land line and are confidential. Our nurses provide advice on the best course of action, helping the majority of callers at home and referring people onto an A&M clinic or the hospital emergency department if required.

Calling your doctor's (GP's) practice first gives you instant piece of mind. Our registered nurses are available 24 hours a day, and their qualified medical advice can help you avoid incurring unnecessary costs or trips to after-hours clinics.

The nurse will notify your GP of your call in case a follow-up is required.

It's easy: simply call your doctor's usual practice phone number and a nurse will answer your call.
