Selection Process
At ProCare we believe in open and timely communications during the employment application process. The general process we follow when moving through a recruitment campaign is below:
1. Applicants are asked to complete the Application Form attached to a job advert on our vacancies page (which includes a process to upload a covering letter and a copy of your CV).
2. We evaluate how you completed the Application Form. Did you follow instructions? Does the information you gave as answers in the Position Related section match up with what we are looking for?
3. We review your CV against our criteria.
4. Candidates to be interviewed will be advised via email or phone call, and an interview arranged. Interviews often include the line manager, a similarly-placed team representative/peer, and an HR representative.
5. Sometimes a second interview may be required with other stakeholders.
6. If you are the preferred candidate, you will be asked to complete two assessments. The first includes Personality, Competence and Psychological profiles. These assessments allow us to gain a better understanding of your interpersonal style, service focus and work attitudes (including leadership potential). Other assessments help us understand your ability against a competency profile designed for this position. These assessments are conducted through an external company, Grafton Consulting Group. The second is the Kolbe Profile conducted through Heartstone. The Kolbe System™ is a measurement for determining your Conative behaviour or your instinctive way of working. You will receive feedback on all assessments.
7. The preferred candidate/s will receive a One-Up interview with the Senior Manager of the service (an interview with the senior manager of the service division, not the line manager).
8. Once all internal feedback is considered for the preferred candidate, he or she will be notified by phone and formally in an email with an employment pack.
9. Unsuccessful candidates will be notified by email that they have not been successful for the job and we welcome any queries you may have to help you with feedback and/or growth for future interviews.
10. Successful candidates will then move through an induction process.
