Most ProCare family practices will be closed on the statutory holidays and some may be closed for the period in between.
To make sure you can receive help any time, ProCare practices offer a free after-hours nurse triage telephone service. Patients simply need to call their usual practice phone number and a registered nurse will answer and help to give you medical advice. If required, they can note for your GP to follow up upon their return in the New Year.

Need urgent help with suspected measles, or a vaccination?
To help patients who may suspect they have measles, or need an urgent measles vaccination, three Auckland A & Ms will be open on Christmas day and other statutory holidays. The three A & Ms who can administer MMR vaccinations are Apollo Medical Centre A&M, Albany; Baird’s Rd A&M, Manukau; and Coast Care A&M, Red Beach.
