Patients of ProCare practices benefit from being able to call registered nurses for free medical advice weekends, after-hours and public holidays. If you or a family member are unwell when your practice is closed, simply call your doctor's (GP's) usual phone number and speak to a registered nurse for medical advice. All calls are confidential and the nurses will notify your GP of your call in case a follow-up is required.
Most of the time our nurses can help you at home. However, if the nurse advises you to go to an A & M clinic or hospital emergency department, they can help you locate your closest open clinic
You may even qualify for subsidised fees under the Auckland After-Hours Care Plan.
